Support The Podcast

donating is super easy, and every penny helps!

The Stock Podcast is the only investing podcast that delivers interviews with CEOs and CFOs from public companies. This program gives everyone the chance to hear senior management talk about their business, industry, and financial outlook. Professional investors call this corporate access, and they pay a lot of money to have access to management. The Stock Podcast delivers these interviews absolutely free!

However, there are several tangible costs in running a podcast, not to mention the intangible opportunity cost for me. The website, podcast hosting services, and marketing costs are fairly significant. In addition, it takes months to secure an interview, many hours of prep research, and at least 4 hours of editing before an episode is published. So, if you enjoy the program, please consider supporting it!

Donations through PayPal are super simple. You can send over a one-time contribution, or you can set up recurring donations. So, for example, a dollar amount per episode, month, or every year. Just click on the icon to the left.

Donations through Venmo are super simple. Just click on the icon above and search for me @nate-iwtb. If you were interested in setting up recurring donations, I don’t think it’s possible through Venmo. Check out payPal or Patreon if you’d like to continue your support for the Stock Podcast.

Send a check my way! Sending a check maybe isn’t as simple as paypal or venmo,
but checks are still welcome!

More Reasons To Consider Donating to The Stock Podcast

A one-on-one meeting with a chief executive can run $50,000 or more in some cases.

The Stock Podcast is the only investing podcast that delivers interviews with c-suite executives to the broader investment community. Institutional investors have an unfair advantage when it comes to researching and selecting stocks (to know more about my views on this matter, I encourage you to listen to the first podcast episode here). One of the biggest advantages is the opportunity to speak with management teams from publicly traded companies, known in the industry as corporate access. Corporate access was once an exclusive privilege of institutional investors, but the Stock Podcast is changing that, one interview at a time. Corporate access provides institutional investors with unparalleled insight into how the c-suite is thinking about their business, industry, financial outlook, and the valuation of their stock. For any investor who wants to learn more about a company, there’s no better person to talk to than the individuals who run the company.

corporate access was worth $900 million to banks in 2018…about 12% of total equity revenues.

Greenwich Associates, 2019

However, management doesn’t have the time to speak with every interested investor with a 401k. And it makes sense. If you were looking for investors in your business, you’d probably spend most of your limited, valuable time speaking with people who have lots of money? Management is focused on running a business and it would be unfeasible to speak with every single interested investor. The unfortunate flip side to this dynamic is that management teams have little to no time to speak with non-institutional investors. For that reason, the Stock Podcast was born. IwtB intends to deliver one company interview each week. However, this is no easy task. It takes a lot of time, effort, and persistence to secure company interviews, which is one of the reasons why institutional investors spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year for corporate access. IwtB is a one-man show and scheduling, interview prep, and audio editing are now my full-time job. For that reason, I personally ask you to consider supporting the program to the extent you get some value from the interviews.
